Mommy Experience

I was wondering if the ladies who are already mommies wanted to dish out some stories/advice to the newer mommies to be. I mean, I'm sure they get tidbits from family and friends and TB forums...but I thought it would be cool to shovel out some wisdom from us. Any one want in- or mind if we do this?

  • I can start with a few little stories?

We were in the car once - "Mumma, I have to go to the bathroom" "Okay, can you wait til we get to daddy's work?" "Aye, Aye, Captain!"

Also, Em (age 2 at the time), ran over to me one day and said "Mumma, I got something in my bum!" I asked "what?" and she turned around and let out a huge fart!

I am no where near ready for kids, but the stuff they say is hilarious. I'd also be curious in reading whatever info you all have.

  • Ooo story time! :-)

E one day while driving by a Chevy dealership (age 2) looks over at a brand new Camero and goes "Mom, Toby needs to buy me that car and give me some money so I can go to the big school".

When you ask her her full name she says it first middle and last and then adds "Super Genious" to the end.

I post a ton on fb because I can never remember them later but she is always coming up with a ton of hilarious off the wall stuff.

  • We were having brunch with some of the elders in out church and Olivia began talking about zombies and how zombies eat "just brains". She also rants on and on about vampires and how they don't like Garlic and that they can't come in unless you say its ok. I understand where the knowledge of the zombies come from, her dad, but I'm not a Twilight kinda gal...so the vampires throws me off.

So lesson here, ladies, be careful what you teach at home. O was pretty proud of her that she spat that out...he grinned and said "she's ready for a zombie apocalypse"

That's kinda cute!!  Maybe a little embarassing to have happen at church, but cute none the less!   I think I remember learning that about Vampires from watching Buffy the Vampire slayer- the movie.  :-)
