AW: Margot's 2 month appt
Margot had her 2 month appt this morning. First of all, how is my baby already 2 months old tomorrow?! This is crazy!! Anyhow, she got some of her vaccines. The first one just made her eyes get big, but with the next one she started screaming. It was awful and it took a lot for me not to cry right along with her. My eyes definitley welled up though! Ugh, it was so sad!! Anyhow, she's 10 lb 8 oz which is 50th percentile and 23" long which is 70th percentile, so she's definitley healthy! He said she looks fantastic! She was kicking, smiling, giggling, and cooing while we were there (before the shots of course). He said she looks very alert and active and he thinks she'll be grabbing at things sooner than most because she already has her hands open and not all clenched up still. Then he said she will probably roll over early too. I said "funny you should mention that because I went to get her out of her crib one morning and she had unswaddled her arms and was on her tummy". My baby needs to stop growing up so fast!!! She's not a tiny little newborn anymore and I have no idea where the time went!! Then he asked how she was sleeping and I wish I could have gotten a picture of his face when I said 8 hrs, eat and new diaper, then another 3. He was like "well, I guess we don't need to have the sleep talk that I normally give". Haha! Oh, and he loved the cloth diaper she had on

Glad she's doing so well. Unfortunately, the shots will never get easier on you. I still almost cried when Amelia had her 12 month shots.
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
That's awesome!! It's always a proud moment when the doctor is impressed with your kid.
I wasn't upset at all when Nate got his shots today, but that's probably because I was at work, and Rodgers was the one holding him down for them. :P
