salon near the airport?
My friend is currently living in Sudan, but is flying home to Colorado for the summer. She has a loooong layover in Atlanta and wants to get her hair and nails done before her boyfriend picks her up in CO. Does anybody know of a good place to do both near the airport? I myuself just moved here in the fall, so I am still unfamiliar with the city! Thanks!

I just looked at the airport's website, and the only place to get nails done is the XpressSpa (it's actually in the airport). I didn't see any salons.
How long is her layover? As far as getting around near the airport, there are some strip shopping centers within a few miles that I'm sure would have a salon, but she'll need a car. Otherwise, she'll have to take Marta up to Buckhead/Lenox area or Peachtree to find a salon. There are lots of hotels close to the Marta stations downtown near Peachtree that have salons.
IMO, it would be a hassle just for hair and nails. I'd maybe go the nails and massage route at the airport and bring stuff in the carry-on to do hair.
