ok... s/o Hotel in NYC and Priceline

Ive never used priceline... so how does it work.

I mean, I know i "pick" a price, right?

but, what's realistic? or put what I think is realistic?

  • You can try whatever you want but if you are too low no one will except it. I think you can google info on the typical accepted price.

  • Check out betterbidding .com. You'll be able to see what people have paid for different hotels. If you need any more assistance call me :) oh and if you are willing to wait until a few days before you are going, you may be more likely to pay closer to what you want. We stayed at the Westin and paid $150 (that included tax). Idk if it was just dumb luck or because we waited until the day of to book.

  • DH is a HUGE low baller and we've won plenty low balling. They tell you if you are TOO  low
  • i love priceline!   it has been hit or miss for us but we used it a lot when staying in nj and fl.
    sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.
