So I bit the bullet...vacuum related

I've been limping my bissell which really sucks (and not in a good way) and finally decided after months of research, and about rage worthy anger towards my current vacuum to bite the bullet and go buy a new one...

I decided that I wasn't completely sold on Dyson because they can't possibly know how much my two shelties shed and the same issues I was having with the Bissell were sure to be a problem with the Dyson as well...so I was going to go cheap and get the Hoover Pet hair rewind...except they were sold out...

So I ventured down the way of the Dyson's and looked at the DC25 vs the DC25 animal...and wanted to know exactly what I was going to get for the additional $50 that the pet cost...when I happened to notice that the DC25 ball next to it was on sale...needless to say I came home with a dyson...

I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE I am not disappointed after wasting so much of my life the last 3 months trying to decide what to get...and if it works then maybe I'll skip the furminator and just vacuum my shelties from now on!!

  • I love my DC25 animal vac!  It pulls up more cat hair than I ever thought could exist in my carpets.

    Yes

We're still quite happy with our Bissell healthy home vac but if it ever dies I think I'd consider a Dyson.  At the time we were vacuum shopping it just wasn't in our budget.

  • I love my Dyson Animal.  We have had it about 5 years and it still works great.  The only issue I ever have with it is my hair stopping the beater bar from spinning (I have a lot of hair and shed more than my cats).  I have to cut it off and it works fine again.

  • We've had ours 2.5 years and are still in love.  Cody sheds really long hair which gets wrapped around the brushes.  Every once in awhile we'll have to cut it off, but it's much better than unclogging the tube every.single.time. like we did with other vacuums.
