open house- spare/kid/guest bedrooms
Any extra bedrooms you've got!
Re: open house- spare/kid/guest bedrooms
That charming wall paper continues into the closet...this whole room is just weird and we obviously never fixed it up.
this was suppossed to be our nursey. There's also a full length closet down the right hand wall which makes the room small but is AWESOME (and my closet)
This is our 2nd bedroom upstairs. Gotta love the pink carpet. The MB has blue carpet, so I think previous owners (many years ago) use these rooms as the kids rooms, and used the 1st floor bedroom as the MB. I use this room as my sewing room. And DH uses the closet and buil tin drawers. Please excuse the mess. I didn't have it in me to clean up.
This is the guest room on the 1st floor. Like I said, I think the early owners of the house used this as the MB. That is a store bought quilt, I don't quilt. Thus looking in from the door.
Looking towards the bathroom door. That's a closet door to the right.
One more view.

As I mentioned yesterday, we have 2 front to back bedrooms upstairs. They are ~14'x19'. Our guest room (which will eventually be our child's room) is a mirror image of ours.
From the doorway:
The little white door is to the crawl space, that's the front of the house, to the far left (facing the window) and next to the room door is the closet:
Window looks out to the back yard:
To the right is the longest stretch of wall without a window or door; there is a bureau with mirror there.
Our house is listed as a 2 bedroom because of the size of the septic tank, but we actually have a room on the 1st that does qualify as a bedroom (windows and it's own closet). We use it as an office. It is approximately 14'x12' I think and has 3 windows (double in the front of the house). I'm showing the pictures here because on the other room day I will show updated pictures of our basement finishing. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures with our desk furniture in there so you'll have to use your imagination.
Mark's (large) desk is straight ahead in that corner, front of the house is to the wall on the right side of the picture (you can just see the double window), my desk is on the wall the door is attached to (to the right, facing the single window):
Closet, we have a waist high bookcase of both sides of the door:
We would only use this as a bedroom if we ended up having 2 children of different genders (otherwise the room upstairs is so big they can share a room) and couldn't move to a bigger house. I think eventually I want to put a futon against that wall with the closet door for guests when the 2nd bedroom upstairs is a baby/kid room.
I had to take these last night, because I totally slacked taking them during the day. The blue room gets morning sunlight and the purple room afternoon/evening sunlight. Once we have baby #2, one of the guest rooms will be converted into a little person's room. If we have another girl M and the girl will share a room, so we'll decorate the larger (purple) guest room for them and she'll move into it before we move the baby from bassinet to crib. If we have a boy, M will probably get the blue guest room to herself decorated for her.
Main guest room/sewing room (see curtain material in corner for solarium?) first two views are from doorway:
View from closet (which is a walk-in):
Second guest room (we call it the blue room or Pete's room for my brother) pic 1 is view from doorway closet is to the right next to bassinet (don't mind the retired baby stuff in the right corner and my old Daewoo Walmart TV from my very first apartment that is going to be retired to the basement or Goodwill- there's a TV already in the armoire):
View from the opposite direction (I totally wanted that pic hung before this open house, DOH! And that's A giving M a bath!):
view from BR closet (room entrance is on the left):
Our nursery 1st view from doorway, 2nd view from where stuffed horse is. This room will stay as is for all of our babies until the last one. The crib is convertible and will be converted to a bed for our youngest and we'll redo the room for them:
We technically have 3 bedrooms, but one is Matt's TV/computer/Playstation room, so I will save it for the extra rooms day.
This is our guest bedroom, looking from the door.
Looking from the corner by the window.
The wall between the door and the window is a double closet that runs the length of the wall. It's awesome. The side closer to the door is a typical closet with a bar and shelf above it. The side closer to the window is pictured below. I store my craft stuff and our board games there right now. It's pretty cool.
My favorite thing about the room.

Guest Room:
future nursery (listing photo - not our furniture):
Our 2 guest bedrooms are really quite plain. We didn't paint either of them, and we've hardly decorated. The bedrooms are mirror images of each other.
1st bedroom at the top of the stairs standing in the doorway
Same view w/ furniture, which is only a full sized bed and small dresser
Standing next to the window facing towards the door. The closets are pretty good sized.
Bedroom 2, from the door, closet is on the right. I don't have any pictures of this room with furniture. It has a twin bed, small bookshelf and other random things (like telescope). It's pretty much a storage room right now. If we're still in this house, this will be our first baby room as it's closest to our room.
Closet, we'll likely add another row of shelving/hanging space.
Master bedroom. I thought red would be nice. Now I am not so sure although it looks better in person.
We have floating shelves acting as nightstands next to the bed now. 2 on each side.
Suri's room
Andrew's man cave.
I don't have pictures of my craft room. It is a disaster.

Here's another shot of my bedroom. To the right is a sliding glass door, the vanity and bathroom and an elliptical.
Here's a pic from when we were buying the house. It's of the vanity area. Through there is the bathroom.
I didn't take a pic of my livingroom where the TV is. It's the picture with the tan couches from few days ago. Here's the area before we moved in.
