Yet one more poll

If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you say to them?

If you could go back in time to when you were 6, what would you say to yourself?

Same question as above, but at 16?

Are you a pessimist or optimist?

Re: Yet one more poll

  • If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you say to them? You know, I've heard this questions, but I've never thought about how I would answer..I'm not really sure. hmmm.

If you could go back in time to when you were 6, what would you say to yourself?

I would tell myself to work hard and never give up. I'd tell myself that swimming will get hard, but to keep doing it.

Same question as above, but at 16?

Keep swimming. This is the time when it gets hard. Don't worry if people think swimming is lame, you can be amazing if you train hard and stick with it. You'll miss it like crazy when you're older, and your experience now will help you when you are a coach. You don't know as much as you think you do about the sport.

Are you a pessimist or optimist?

I'd say that I'm more of a realist. I look at a situation for what it is. However, at times, I'm more likely to be a pessimist than an optimist.

  • If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you say to them?

I think Tina Fey, and I would ask her to be my friend and to go out for a burger and beer.

If you could go back in time to when you were 6, what would you say to yourself?

Don't worry about what anyone else ever thinks of you, especially that Alexandra girl.

Same question as above, but at 16?

You are making a good decision.

Are you a pessimist or optimist?

I am an optimist. I always hope.

Ok, I got an error when I hit post, so I apologize if this posts twice.

  • If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you say to them? Hmm...I think I would want to meet Bill Gates or the guy who invented Facebook. I would ask them about their businesses and how they got their, made their product the best.

If you could go back in time to when you were 6, what would you say to yourself? Explore more than your comfort zone! Continue soccer and Girl Scouts

Same question as above, but at 16? High school friends won't always be there -- don't let them control/dictate your life

Are you a pessimist or optimist?  total pessimist. I try to be more realist and look for the silver lining but it doesn't happen all that often...

  • If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you say to them? This answer changes for me daily, but I think I've narrowed it down to 2:1) Frederick Law Olmsted - and I would thank him for starting my profession and having the conviction to fight for Central Park2) (sorry for the morbidity) my late Uncle Steve - I would tell him not to fly the group of doctors to the Bahamas that weekend in June If you could go back in time to when you were 6, what would you say to yourself? That even though your friends parents buy them stuff that your parents could never afford, what really matters is the time you spend with them. Gifts cannot replace love. Same question as above, but at 16?Your mother is not your worst enemy.  And quitting soccer and piano is going to be a huge regretAre you a pessimist or optimist?Generally I have a pretty rosy outlook on life, but I do have my moments where I get very pessimistic
