What do you like most/least about being a parent? I just love seeing this little creature that I created and her budding personality...she makes me crack up several times a day. Gone are the days when bar hopping was fun....I'd rather have a dance party with my little girl in the living room :-)

I feel like you just got pregnant, where did that adorable belly come from?? Is Ava excited to be a big sister? What is your favorite "NY" food? How do you stay in shape when not pregnant?

Did you have a plan before having kids (just asking because we always say we will wait until there is a "good time..." Is there ever?!)? We started TTC as soon as we got married. I was 30 and DH was 37 I believe at the time so we weren't spring chickens and knew we wanted kids right away. We're stable in all aspects so we felt more than ready and got bored with just the two of us, lol. I do think there are right and wrong times to bring children into the world, but it all depends on how you look at it and your situation.
What is your favorite baseball team? I'm not into baseball really but if I had to pick I'd say the Rays.
Do you like to go to the beach? I love the beach! Not so much right now because I do not care to don a swimsuit in my current rotund condition.
Do you have any pets? Yes, we have a 7 month old Boston Terrier, a 4 year old Blue Point Himalayan cat and a betta fish.
What is your favorite restaurant? I can't really choose, there are so many good ones. Charley's is at the top of my list, Armani's, Samurai Blue are a couple others
Are you missing having any cocktails? Most definitely! I keep telling DH not to worry that I will catch up, haha.

I don't think she really quite gets it yet, but she talks about "baby brother Jax in mommy's tummy" all the time. What is your favorite "NY" food? I have to say the egg sandwiches! Two eggs over medium on a soft poppy roll with mayo, provolone cheese & garlic...YUM! How do you stay in shape when not pregnant? I hit the gym as often as I can and I do 20 mins of cardio (usually running on the treadmill) coupled with isolated resistance training. I also am a VERY clean eater, just not so much when I'm pregnant. I figure this is the last time I will ever be pregnant so I am going to enjoy it and just laugh at how much I'm eating. I know it will come off.

You are so right. One of the things bagel stores are missing down here are the grill tops. Mmmmm....

Since you're already a mommy and taking it on a second time, what piece of advice would you give to a new mommy? I would have to say it would be to take everyone's parenting advice with a grain of salt and do things your own instinctual way. That, and have an open mind and practice patience.

Favorite family activity? Neighborhood walks after dinner while the weather is still nice. We also go out in the back yard and I'll spread a blanket down and watch DH chase DD and play fetch with the dog. I think we might live in Stepford.

Favorite place to find decoration inspirations? Websites, blogs, and friends' houses.

I've probably missed this before but where does your screen name come from? "ragazza" means girl in Italian and I've always wanted to learn to speak to Italian, and my b-day falls on the 19th.

Where do you like to get your current events from? I'm not really a news follower but occasionally I do enjoy actually sitting down and reading a local newspaper. I will also check out tbo.com and cnn.com for stuff too. I can not watch Fox news....too many horrific things being reported.

Do you like to cook? I do! I used to have a cooking blog but found out I was pregnant with DD right after I started it so needless to say when morning sickness set in I kind of put my passion for cooking on hiatus. I cook now occasionally but being pregnant again I am too tired after chasing DD all day to stand & prepare a meal all while fending off little hands from open gas burners :-)

Is there anything on your "want" list? At the moment, it is to meet my son and be done with being pregnant, I am not a fan at all. That, and maybe some freshly baked peanut butter or girl scout cookies!
Did you ever consider marriage before you meet your H? Or was he your one and only true love? Great question! I actually was married once before. When I was 23 I went to Vegas with my boyfriend of 3 months and we ended up going to see Elvis and getting hitched. The courthouse was open 24 hours at the time so we did in fact make it legal and everything. Yea a year later I realized I'd made a mistake. I like to call that one my "starter" marriage.

If DS would have been a DD...would you still be "done?" Definitely not. We wanted 2 kids and hoped for one of each but if DS has been another girl you bet your sweet a$$ I would be done haha.
What is the best vacation you and H have ever gone on with and without Ava. Our honeymoon, hands down. We had butler service that catered to our every need. They even gave us cell phones on the resort in Antigua so we could summon our butler anywhere we were to bring us food, champagne, etc. It was 10 days of doing nothing except being lazy in paradise and it was a vacation we will never forget. We've never been on a vacation without Ava so I can't answer that part.

Which pregnancy has been easier? Honestly so far this one has. I don't have any hip pain or swelling like I did with DD. Ironically I worked out twice a week while pregnant with her and with this one I'm lucky if I get to the gym once every three weeks and I'm cruising right along with little complaints.

What do you like most about living in Florida? The summer thunderstorms, the beach, and dining al fresco

Do you think you will ever return to work? Maybe once both children are in elementary school. I'm not really a career woman so I say that now but the reality is probably not, haha.

Other than your beautiful Ava, what else do you like to shoot? (Um, with a camera.) I love, love, love to shoot wildlife in its' natural habitat. Google Andy Rouse, I am huge fan of his work. My dream is to have one of those fancy schmancy HUGE telephoto lenses and capture bald eagles somewhere. Or just go to Alaska and maybe get super close to some.
Are there any areas of photography that you want to learn? I *need* to learn how to shoot indoors better in low lighting. I start out okay but when I move around I start shifting my settings, getting frustrated that nothing is coming out and end up going to auto as to not miss anything. I also feel defeated when this happens :-(
Do you watch any TV shows? Aside from the stuff on Nick Jr. which plays on a loop in our house? Yes when they in season. I love me some Dexter, I also watch Rescue Me and Sons of Anarchy. That's about it. I used to love the Sopranos and The L Word before they ended/were canceled.
