Happy Hump Day
Not only is it Hump Day, it's also Fake Thursday! I like fake Thursday.
We had some crazy weather last night and I was awoken by a storm around 2am. Not fun. And, our skylight is leaking. The previous homeowners just painted over any water stains before they sold the house, so we didn't know until the first spring that it leaked. Jerks.
I'm hoping to get some stripe painting and a run accomplished today. What's everyone else have on the go?

Re: Happy Hump Day
Last night was boring...except I made awesome tacos for dinner (it's the little things in my life, clearly).
Today I have my doctor's appointment to talk about why we aren't PG yet. I haven't been nervous about it untill now, but I have been getting more and more nervous all morning. I don't know why--it is mostly just going to be talking--I guess it just feels like a big step.
This afternoon I plan on getting in a run (maybe outside, but there is supposed to be thunderstorms and hail, so then, maybe not). Then tonight we have friends coming down to go out to dinner, which should be fun!
Also, my neck is getting better! I have only taken one tylenol today. It is still a bit stiff when I wake up, but I am definitely on the mend (thank goodness!)

Yay for fake Thursday! We had some crazy weather last night as well. I woke up this morning to find one of my full grown trees laying across my backyard. It took out my fence in the process. Another one of my trees lost a big enough branch to take out about a 4' section of my neighbor's fence. We were awake when all of this was happening (probably 8:00 last night), but it was raining so hard you couldn't see anything. We had to wait until this morning to access the damage.
Tonight I think I'll be picking up sticks and branches, as long as the yard dries out enough today. I'm also hoping to get in a workout and will try to catch the Cubs this evening.

I am a little jealous of everyone that has a short week. We never get Good Friday off. Hopefully we will be able to work a short day.
The pregnancy insomnia has already started and I feel like I haven't' slept in days! I am so tired.

Woohoo for fake Thursday! And even better, I'm WFH tomorrow, so no more office for me this week. I have my last driving lesson tonight, and that's the extent of my excitement today.

Last night I mandated we go out to eat. It was so worth it. Red Robin...yummm. Work was crazy, and I just had to get out and do something.
Tonight will be the usual stuff at home, and hopefully we can get in some grocery shopping since we didn't go last night.
Off to move some tables around in a conference room and try not to kill myself at the same time. Fun fun.
I am at home today due to two appointments at the RE. With the commute, it just wasn't worth it to go in to the District today.
I had a monitoring visit at 8:45 for cycle #5 IUI. We go back at noon for a consult to decide what we are going to do next. I'm not really sure where this is going to go and I expect there to be crying. Please send us all the vibes, juju, T&Ps or whatever you have that this cycle works and we get a sticky baby.
Since I am home, I hope to get some good multitasking done. I'd like to get the laundry caught up and make raynes's cookies.

Last night was pretty easy going. DH and I ordered in Chinese and watched the Hawks game. And they WON! After the first three games, I will admit having been resigned to Vancouver sweeping them, but now my hope has been restored.
Today is work, followed by a happy hour get together with some fellow law school folks. I just want this week to be over already, so I can be that much closer to leaving for vacation.

Today we're having craft day with my cousin and her kids. We're making bird houses. The weather is so crappy here and I'm trying hard not to be mad about not being in florida where it is currently 80 and sunny.
I also realized my brother's wedding is in a week from tomorrow and I look like crap. I think some spanx may be in order for this one. Also I need to stop making excuses and get my fat asz to the gym. I lost 10lbs and then was all hey I'm awesome, but I need to lose at least 20-30 more. Stupid laziness.
Anybody want to start holding me accountable?
Mo, you should join Mandee and I in our emailing. I just started C25k again, and she's planning on doing it too, but there's no reason why it just can't be a general "hey I worked out and I'm awesome" emailing.

I wish we had a short week too! Monday was a state holiday (Patriots Day) and we were given the option to take it off, but I worked anyway. And we don't get Good Friday off...a 3-day week would have been lovely, though!
I have book club tonight which I am looking forward to. H and his friend went to the Celts-Knicks playoff game last night and managed to sneak down to empty center courtside seats - and didn't get kicked out for the whole game! I don't know who would just let tix worth thousands of dollars go to waste, but H was thrilled! Plus, the Cs won! Yay!

I got a call from my mom last night letting me know that our family dog we've had since I was in 6th grade died yesterday. I'm a little bummed today but I'm happy that he went on his own and we didn't have to make a decision to put him sleep. He hadn't been doing very well the last couple of weeks.
Umm yeah I need to do something. Now that DH is working I get limited time for working out and am lucky to make it to the gym once a week. I am just hoping to take the boys for walks more (at least it's something) when the weather gets nicer. I was down 20 lbs and I think I have gained 4 back over the past couple of weeks. Yesterday I didn't make it to Zumba as DH had a long day with the boys, and so mama had to stay home. Instead we ate his homemade sauce with meatballs (is it lunch time yet?)
DH is working today so tonight I have to make dinner and try to get our bedroom cleaned up. It really has taken a back burner to everything, and I can't take it anymore. I would be embarassed if anyone came over and saw it.

Busy here and its a true Wednesday, I have a presentation later today and then another acupuncture appt. Tomorrow I go in for my CD3 bloodwork... trying to decide if I get it done at the closest/most convenient location (where my NT Scan went terribly wrong) or if I get all superstitious and go to another lab....

Morning, all. I just got into the office after going with the H to an appointment downtown; he's been having a ton of shoulder issues lately and wanted me there to help him remember all the questions he had. So I went--he ended up having a cortisone shot, which hopefully will help. He has a six-week followup appointment if the shot doesn't do the trick.
Our supervisor at work is away on vacation; the owner is taking the opportunity to pull rank and be a jerk. In other news, the sky is blue. Should be a pleasant day at work . . . yeah.
