AW: Baby's Room
As promised, here are pics of Baby C's room. It's very boring right now. The walls are much more cheerful in person and there's more of a contrast between the green walls and the yellow ones.
Bedding is a green pin striped bed skirt, polka dot crib sheet and yellow breathable crib bumper:
When we know the sex, I'll:
-add pink or light blue cornices above the window shades
-put an Etsy wall decal of the baby's first initial above the crib or white 8x10 frames with hand drawn animal art
-switch out the knobs on the dressers to either pink knobs or multi/primary-colored ones
-put a white floral lamp or a white/green one on the tall dresser
-put an 11x14 pro newborn pic of baby above the tall dresser, in a white frame
-put a monkey wall decal above the changing table for a boy, or a pink owl for a girl

Maybe. IDK. It seems like we were mostly blue and gold with everything we did. Maybe some baby pearls. Or a pine tree air freshener. I'm not really sure where the line is. ;-)

We got it at a specialty baby/kids store. The brand is Best Chairs and the style is "Manuel." You can pick light or espresso wood and choose from about 100 different fabrics to customize it. We wanted a fully upholstered gliding recliner, but it was just too big, so we went with the comfiest wood/fabric glider we could find and this was it. It doesn't technically recline, but if you glide all the way backward in it, you can lock it into a reclining position. I could seriously fall asleep in it every time I sit down in it. With the ottoman, it was pretty pricey, but Best Chairs has long warranties and we plan to use this with both kids and then eventually find a home for it somewhere else in the house.

I love the dark furniture. You'll have to post new pics when you add the knobs. I love Anthropologie knobs. The wall decals sounds really cute too. I stalk etsy nursery decor often. He/she will be here before you know it!
