Do you have any simple pleasures? You know something smile and uncomplicated that just makes you smile?
Mine last night was how nice the fresh clean sheets felt across my freshly shaved bare legs!! I should change the sheets and shave more often LMAO!!

Re: Simple Pleasures?
My Profile
I love the smell of freshly baled hay. It comes from having grown up the country. It's just a smell that means summer to me.
It also causes severe allergies, but I still can't help but breathing it in!
I love fresh sheets!
One of my biggest simple pleasures is to sit with DH on the couch after a long day and drink a cup of chamomile tea before we go to bed.
kisses from Sgt Pepper
wild flowers growing in the crack of the sidewalk
I also love coffee on a rainy morning or afternoon. Especially if that morning takes place on vacation in Florida, Hawaii, or Costa Rica (but I guess that's not a simple pleasure huh? Haha).
ME TOO!!! I use to have a love hate relationship with "Hay" night at the barn when we had horses. I use to think it was so much fun to unload the truck and re-stack the hay in the loft. However, I had to be doped up on benadryl, epi pen in the pockets and wearing long sleeves and pants in 90 degree weather!! LOL
Also I love the smell of barns and horse manure
(I'm weird I know). Boy I miss the horses!!
Oh thats a good one too!
1. Lucy's insane 'whines' when we come home (she doesn't bark, she doesn't yelp, she's a bird dog, so she's quiet by nature. But when we come home she always makes happy little 'woo-woo' sounds and I say, "oh, tell me about your day..."
2. Seeing Lemons and Oranges on the trees in the winter (I know this is NBD if you live in FL, but being a NE/Midlant girl, it's still fun to see ripe fruit in the winter).
3. Holding H's hand when we go to sleep. I'm/we're not big touchy-feely/emotional people, but I do love to hold H's hand while drifting off to sleep. Lame, but true ;!
Love this!!
