I swear I will kill DH
I'm home on break this week and its only freakin Wednesday - I can not TELL YOU how many goddarn times he's called me.
I'm not sure what about sitting home with 2 toddlers makes him think I have all this time to chat endlessly. Granted, he's at work and bored b/c he works on construction sites and the crappy weather makes things slower..
BUT come on... seriously. Stop calling my phone.
And...then when I'm only paying 20% attention bc i have a 17 month old climbing me like a jungle gym and a 2.5 yr old saying "Mommy peeeese Mommy Peeseeeeeeeeee" Don't get annoyed I don't know or CARE what you're saying.
Really, can we talk about chicken later on today? Maybe during nap time?

Mine does this too and I don't have kids but it pisses me off to no end. We had quite a large blow out about it and now he doesn't call as often but still has his days.
Oh geez, DH does that to me too. He'll call and ask, "G is screaming, what is bothering him?" Um...I'm NOT there! So, I have to talk him through the checklist of diaper, hunger, thirst, etc. He's really great with G but gets flustered easily and forgets that he is quite competent.

My Hubs does it too. AND when I don't call him when he's working...he thinks something is wrong. I tell him "You're out in the woods. I don't know if I'm bothering you."
and when they are home...OMG...both he and my son were home today. Up my ass so much, I left. I went to the Mall (big mistake) and took myself to lunch cause I was gonna kill them both.
