If you have been to Qdoba...
If you have been to Qdoba recently & used your debit or credit card beware. They reported on the news last night that Qdoba's credit card system had been hacked & over a dozen customers had reported fraudulent charges.
I used my card at Qdoba at the beginning of March & had $1,300 of fraudulent charges show up on my account last week. My card was cancelled & my bank refunded my money, I'm glad we caught it right away. I just wanted to warn you guys.
Re: If you have been to Qdoba...
Holy Buckets!
Scary - but glad you got it straightened out. I haven't heard anything about this.
THANK YOU for posting this. DH had gone there awhile ago and I checked our credit card and there was a fraud alert! Someone tried to purchase $450 worth of shoes on Monday. They have taken care of it luckily and they haven't let anything go through since then.
Thanks again...I might have taken me awhile to figure this out.
Wow I'm glad you posted this! I now have an idea of how our debit/CC # was stolen!
I just checked my Mint.com and I went to Qdoba on March 2nd (1st time in years!) and we had about $600 in fraudulent charges at a Macy's in TX on March 31st
We also had ours cancelled and refunded so everything fine now. It was just SO irritating! What's worse is that apparently they can duplicate cards now since they used an actual debit card (swiped the card) at an actual Macy's store, and not online!
Yep that's pretty much what happened to us. My card was duplicated & used at a few clothing stores in LA to the tune of $1,300. Our bank fixed everything but it's still a headache to change cards.
I had no idea it was from Qdoba until I saw it on the news last night. They reported that a dozen people had reported fraudulent activity. I'm sure there are many more like us that had fraud & didn't know how they were compromised.
I had no clue it could have been Qdoba since I've been there once in the past 5 years. My initial thought was that it could be from online shopping, but since I always buy from pretty legit sources (The Gap, Amazon, etc.) I didn't think that could be it. I'm so glad I know now and I can shop online in peace!
