Soo... I guess I'm having a bad hair day.

I got up early this morning because I was worried about our field trip today (which was awesome, btw), and decided to curl my hair, as I had time. Well, it was misting lightly when I left the house and most of the curl fell out and became soft waves.

I was asked by 4 different students:

"Miss Lewis, what's wrong with your hair today."

The last time I ended up responding with "Clearly, it exploded. See, I tied firecrackers in it this morning in hopes of giving it curl."

Geez, I didn't think it looked *that* bad!

  • PIP! Haha, soft waves sound lovely!
  • I agree, soft waves sound cute. I'm guessing that they were confused because they're used to seeing your hair styled differently (straight maybe?).
  • It's always fun to try out wearing your hair a new way.  Next time you should tell your student's that your "Ms. Lewis's evil twin sister" :)  I feel like I had a teach do this.  Also, I totally sympathize.  I have completely stick straight hair, and I could spend hours with a curling iron or steam curlers, and it would just fall in a few hours.

  • Bahaha!  Gotta love 'em.  I had a kid looking at the pictures on my desk awhile ago.  I have a couple of wedding pictures there.  My kid looked at the picture, then looked at me, and responded, "Boy, that picture must have been taken a long time ago.  You look much older now."  Um...thanks.
