Is it weird that I don't know? I rarely eat asparagus as I don't like the taste of it. Sounds like I would remember the smell though if I was a smeller!

Hahaha...I actually had asparagus for lunch today. I love it but I hate the smell of it. I have to hold my breath when I pee to avoid taking in the smell.

I'm a smeller, but am not a fan of the smell (though I LOVE asparagus).

DH never used to notice it until I pointed it out, now he gets all mad when he pees after eating asparagus lol

After a lifetime of eating asparagus, it wasn't until I was almost 40 that I learned that *that* smell was caused by asparagus. LOL. I'd always noticed it, but I'd always thought I was on the verge of a UTI or something.

Ready for a TMI story??

My OB asks that I collect a FMU (first morning urine) sample the morning of all my appts and then bring it with me my appts where they then check it for sugars and proteins, etc. So, the morning of my 16 week appt, I go to pee in the cup and I realize we had asparagus the night before b/c I am soooooooo a smeller, and I was pretty mortified. I told T I need a calendar reminder to NOT eat asparagus at least a few days before my appts. I only hope the medical assistant was a non-smeller Embarrassed

I'm sitting in my cubicle laughing outloud...my co-workers are going to think I'm nuts. That's hilarious!!!
