Or is it me?
I did my interview 2.5 weeks ago, when I asked what that the next step is, "if we offer you a position it will be in a letter"
So I sent my Thank You notes, waited sent a follow up email , waited and nothing, so today I get an email asking me for my mailing address, I called to verify that they got it and asked did you make a decision, 'yes we are sending out letters" and we can not tell you anything else, my thought is if I did get the job they could tell me.. So my queestion is this seems odd to me, is it to anyone else?
PS my address was on my resume, both mailing and physical??????
Re: Is this weird?
My best guess is that they're sending you a rejection letter (sorry to be so pessimistic). I'm sure the offer letter exists, but after a phone call/verbal offer have taken place.
Then again, every company operates differently. Maybe there is a written offer coming your way... I just think that'd be odd.

This exactly. GL
Every job offer I've received was verbal initally, but then followed by a formal letter. WHat you described above does sound odd. I would think they would at least contact the chosen candidate by phone to ensure that person was interested in the job before sending out rejection letters to the other candidates, in case they had to go with the second in line.
I do hope all works out for the best for you in the long run. Good luck!
