Officially Under Agreement!
As of about 6:30 pm last night, our condo officially went under agreement!
I'm not getting too excited just yet; these buyers are a little unusual, and I think they will be very challenging through the home inspection/list of items that come from it process. The inspection is scheduled for Saturday, at least, so, we'll get this overwith quickly, I hope!
The purchase and sale is scheduled for a week from today, and I'll feel much more confident then. They're cash buyers, so we won't have to deal with financing or bank appraisal issues.
Keep your fingers crossed for us!
Re: Officially Under Agreement!
Yay! Congrats! I hope inspection goes well.
Have you guys found a place yet?

Welcome to the dark side
We're going to move into an apartment complex on a short term rental/month to month option. The complex is very close to the area we want to move into (Melrose/Wakefield) and it's a high end, well taken care of property, so we're not dealing with landlords or other crap like that. It may cost more, but given all the change we're going through, it's worth some extra money per month, and, even at the highest, it's still only about 75% of my mortgage/fees cost, so it won't be more out of pocket.
Lots of things can happen, so we're cautiously optimistic that things continue to go well.... we'll know more in a week for sure!
