Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

  • Interesting article!  Though I am still going to rinse my chicken, as I always wipe down my sink and counter with Clorox wipes after cooking anyway.  And I'm still going to cut off the fat, as I think it is gross.  :-)

    So weird!  Maybe I won't start rinsing my chicken afterall, although like other's I'll still trim the fat I think.

    The cutting board one is interesting too.  We primarily use plastic cutting boards.  But if I cut meat on them, I handwish and then also run through the dishwasher.

    I forgot about this part.  I actually will only cut meat on the plastic ones, because I can put them in the dishwasher.  My wooden cutting board won't fit in the dishwasher, and I would think that it would also be ruined if I did.  So it's for veggies only.
