Someone asked to see pics of the house in a previous post so here they are!
Anyways, let me know what you guys think! We are going to remodel the basement bathroom, bar area, and refinish the fireplace with slate stone before we move in, other than that we love the place!

Congrats on the new house! It's fun (until water starts shooting out of your kitchen sink cabinet at 11:45 p.m. like at our house last night....that was awe-some!)

my parents have that backsplash. i think it's actually selfstick tiles or a tin sheet you unroll. i can't remember. but yeah, it's cool looking!
my aunt has a house with the exact same layout and it is no where NEAR as nice as that. total score! it's a beautiful place!
It's a thick sheet of tin. We aren't actually huge fans of it. We are doing this for the backsplash instead. This stone will also be on the fireplace and the backsplash in the bar area in the basement.
