Well, fake Friday. Sorry if it's only your Thursday.
I'm officially taking a 4 day weekend and that's exciting. I've got a ton to do around the house, so it will be nice. I'm also going to bake a pretty cake (this one, but the cake mix from scratch).
Last night I made it out for a run, even though it was gross outside. Yay me!

I am leaving work at 10 to go to Jordan's easter egg hunt at school. I have sat at work and done nothing all week so I am contemplating coming back. I know I need to money wise, but sitting her all day to do nothing when I have tons to do at home bothers me.
This weekend we have a tball game saturday morning and then we are going to dye eggs saturday night. Sunday the plans are church, lunch with family, and more hunting easter eggs.
Hope everyone has a great Easter.
Yesterday was a great day. My doctor appointment went well, I got in my 11 mile run for the week, and then friends came over and we went out to dinner with them--two bottles of wine later and we had a fun evening!
Today I am going to do a slow run since my legs are sore, and then I am off to sushi lunch with my former student teacher from last year. She got a job in our district at the high school, so even though we are only across the parking lot we don't see each other nearly enough, so it will be really fun to catch up! After lunch I may go get a pedicure, or if I am a really good person, I will come home and paint my entryway.

Last night I dealt with our home computer. I think it is officially dead. So this morning I spent some time on the Dell Website looking at the discounts our company gets. So a new computer may be on the horizon. I want a laptop, but DH wants a desktop. Maybe we can get a better deal for one of each?
Not much going on otherwise besides work and hanging at the homestead.

Today is thankfully more relaxed at the college. I love holiday weekends. All the students disappear and it's quiet.
Tonight I'm heading to the grocery store by myself since we just can't seem to find time to go together. Then I'll be patching a hole in the kitchen wall...don't ask. Finally, it'll be time to crawl into bed and die for the night. My boss randomly asked if I wanted tomorrow off, but I think I'll come in. It was so sudden I wasn't sure what to do. So only Thursday for me, too.
Why did you do that to us?! I seriously had to pause and think for a few seconds if it was really Friday.
It's only Thursday for me, but Happy Friday to the lucky ducks in the group!
I wish it was Friday. We've got a reservation for brunch after church on Sunday. That's as good as I've got for fun weekend plans.

hiyeeee! I'm working, per usual, and going into Annapolis tonight to get new jeans and running shoes.
went out for the start of rockfish season on Monday, and the fish I caught got a little... excited... all over my pants. my FAVORITE pants. if that weren't enough fun, those very pants ripped right in the crotch that day as I was getting into the truck. so yeah. a new pair of jeans is much needed.
also, one of my bests, who is recently engaged, is having some girls over tomorrow night for a "wedding ceremony planning session" and said not to ask questions about what it actually entails. I'm pretty sure she's going to ask us to be IN the wedding, which is exciting. I'm making Tastefully Simple's strawberry cheese ball tonight to bring for dessert. it'll be pure skill if it makes it there without any bite marks missing.

Today is egg dyeing at the MO house. C's new cousins (6 and 8) are coming over for trampoline jumping, games, and egg dyeing.
We're looking at quite a battle to make sure this little one is ours forever, but hopefully it'll happen over time.
It's been nothing but weekend for me, I'm actually enjoying everyone being home with me. and I'm kinda sad that it's going to end soon.

Thank goodness for fake Friday. I've had a horrible day and looking forward to the weekend. I was WFH today because I was supposed to have my driving exam this afternoon - but would you believe that the traffic was absolutely horrible on the way to the test center (I guess with people trying to get out of town early), and we ended up missing the appointment. I am beyond frustrated, as I had been nervous about it all day and just wanted it to be done. Argh.
Oh well, at least we have the long weekend in Lisbon to look forward to. Taking off tomorrow.

No Friday for me either, but that's ok. A week from today, B and I leave for Europe, and I can't wait. I've been looking forward to this trip forever, and I am thrilled that it is finally almost here. Today, I'm going to keep my nose to the grindstone and try to get a lot of work done. This weekend will be mostly running around getting ready for our trip. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Afternoon, all. Work has been crazy and promises to be crazy up until we leave for Cancun in about two weeks. That's okay--as long as it makes the day go by fast and the next two weeks hurry by, I'm all for it (and they've got me doing actual substantive stuff, so I can't complain).
Did a nice weight workout last night, had a great dinner, and then watched HP 7 Part 1 for a while before going to sleep. Tonight will be more of the same, I think.

Today was okay. Typical day. Tonight we are going over to our friends house to watch Breaking Bad since we couldn't on Monday since Mark was so busy with school stuff.
