We don't get Good Friday off at my University. (Of course, we didn't get Patriots day off, either, grrr...) The only time I got the day off was when I worked for a Catholic college. However, my husband works in finance, and he gets the day off. The lucky git.
I do have tomorrow off and am super thankful because my students are wearing me out this week!
For those of you who work tomorrow I hope the day goes quickly

It's a MA holiday, (though I think Maine celebrates it too, actually) commemorating the beginning of the Revolutionary war. It's also the day of the Boston Marathon, which means the city is an effing nightmare.
I have off tomorrow, but the university I work at is open. DH works here too so he'll be coming in. I just have a neato schedule right now where I get to alternate between having friday completely off and just coming in for a half day friday.
At my old job in financial services we were closed on Good Friday. It seems odd to me that universities wouldn't be?

Not me, sorry!
I'll be up around 430am to be on the road by 5am and in West Virginia by 10am. My work is closing 1 hour early today, is closed tomorrow, and I took a vacation day on Monday to drive back.
So I won't be catching up with everyone until Tuesday!

Which university are you at? I don't think I had off a full day for Good Friday when I was in college, luckily teaching I get off Friday and Monday for Easter!
