I am a massive nerd
So we started doing an office lunch every other week. I get to pick it out and order it. I have been keeping track of the orders, how many people are here that day, and the cost per person it comes out to. I am shocked with the results thus far:
Shields Pizza (for pasta, salad, breadsticks and kroger cupcakes): $5.73 pp
Benitos (pizza and salad)- $6.48pp
Jet's (pizza and salad)- $7.35pp one time, $6.83pp another time
Jimmy Johns (sammich, pickle spear, chips, cookie) - $12.74! pp

The JJ menu was:
Everyone picked out a sub from the menu, then I got a bucket of pickle spears, individual bags of chips and cookies. That's it. It wasn't the catering tray. It was as expensive to do the box lunches too. Whatever, JJ is stupid.
Jess... they want me to do a pivot table/graph for this crap! I told them to stfu.
Next orders will be more pizza, chinese, and mexican.
I love Benito's! We usually get it every Friday night at the ILs. It doesn't hurt things that one of the owner's was a groomsman at our wedding. When DH & I order, we get a super discount if we ask for it (we don't always, seems like taking advantage)
JJ's is expensive. I used their catering for DS's bday party last year, for a tray of sammies, chips and pickles it was over $80.
we do a department luncheon every month to celebrate the birthdays of that month and our set limit is under $10 person and we've had some pretty dang good lunches for under that. I've gotten lots of menus & make sample menu's. We try to not have pizza as we get actual meals. I organize it everymonth, send out 3 menu choices for everyone to vote on, we have 15-16 people that participate. I get the pop & dessert and then get the rest catered and I just pick up the food.
Today was our luncheon & we had (from blue ox bbq in lake orion) for $9/person:
- Pulled pork sandwich (w/bun)
- beans
- potato salad
- corn on the cob (halves)
- pop
- mini-cupcakes
Last month we had On The Border... it was so yummy & we had SOOOOOOO much food... this one was $10/month. We got chips/salsa/queso, rice, beans in addition to an enchillada, an empanida,a taco(1 of each per person), then pop & cookies. it was way good & lots of food, will for sure use them again.
I had Mr.PIta in one of my menu's & couldn't believe how expensive it was. I'm not spending $10 to get a sub, chips & pop, it's crazy.

Nov/Dec 2011, started seeing RE. HSG-all clear! SA is good! DX = unexplained IF.
Cycle#25-50mg clomid, IUI#1 = BFP 12/24/11 ~ m/c 1/5/12 ~ 2/21/12 beta level finally 0.
Cycle#28- 100mg clomid + Ovidrel + IUI#2 = BFN
Cycle#29- Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#3 = BFP 5/8/12 ~ betas dropped 5/17/12 ~ Cytotec(fail) D&C (fail) & then a methotrexate shot to get things going ~ 6/28/12 Beta FINALLY 0.
RPL tests reveal MTHFR mutation(1copy)-adding Folgard & BA and moving forward.
Cycle#32-Follistim + Ovidrel + IUI#4 = BFP!
Beta#1 8/21/12: 11, Beta#2 8/23: 71, Beta#3 8/25:174
9/4-seen sac/yolk, 9/7-9/12 hospitalized for a ruptured cyst causing massive internal bleeding.
9/11-seen HB!! 9/18- no HB, 9/21/12-D&C. Fetal tissue testing revealed a healthy boy. Now getting more tests to try to figure out this mystery
