Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

DH's manipulative EX : VENT (kinda long)
EX drives me crazy! SD is supposed to be with DH after school gets out. Since this is Thursday that means she will spend that night with us & EX won't see her until Friday. SD had a overnight field trip so EX hasn't seen her since she dropped her off at school early Wednesday (of course we haven't seen SD since Tuesday afternoon but whatever). Anyway, EX thought she had SD after school today b/c of the Easter holiday & when DH imformed her that she was mistaken she devised a plan.
SD was supposed to call DH when she returned to school after her field trip so he could pick her up. Her class was expected to return around noon. SD calls her mom instead. Why? Because EX told her that if she called her instead that she would take her to Chili's for lunch. UGH!!! Isn't it great that she had to manipulate the situation to get what she wants - not to mention her child! Poor SD is just a pawn in EX's struggle for percieved power. It's EX's way of telling DH "See the custody agreement says that I'm not supposed to see SD today but I figured out how to do it anyway."
Why does she have to be so under-handed & nasty?? I HATE THIS WOMAN!

Thanks girls! It's so nice to have you all understand & validate my feelings.
Cindy, you hit the nail on the head. It's all about power to her & not about SD. SD is at the age where she is begining to realize it but has not & probably never will say anything to us about it. So sad. Like you all have said before, all we can do is love her & create a supportive, stable & loving environment.
Is it time for you to get sole custody yet?
