speaking of cats (warning: sad)
On my walk to the bus this morning, I saw a cat lying on the side of the road in an empty parallel parking spot. It looked like it was dead but there was no obvious injury so I'm crossing my fingers it is somehow still alive. I called animal welfare as soon as I got to work and am waiting to hear what they found.
Re: speaking of cats (warning: sad)
Really? Some eople don't call? That breaks my heart! A poor animal is suffering or has given its life up and someone can't be bothered to make a quick phone call? Grr. Unfortunately, I have not heard back so I'm thinking the cat did not make it.
Well, I guess I am coming from a bit different situation, but twice recently I have stopped to pull over for different dogs who are running across busy roads and both times have gone up to houses asking if it was their dog a similar reply of "No, I don't know whose it is, but it's been running around and almost been hit a bunch of times" I don't really understand how people just can't pick up the phone.
And of course the time that a horse got out of it's pasture by the road and started to walk on the road...someone just honked at it as they flew by instead of slowing/stopping.
