T & P needed
I am asking for any good thoughts you can send our way. We found out today our cat Tasha has a tumor 
. She was having trouble breathing, so we brought her in and they did x-rays. They drained fluid from her lungs, and gave her a steroid. They hope that will help and aren't recommending surgery right now. She is almost 13, and we have had her 3 years. She is the sweetest cat ever! We call her our "dog-cat" because she greets us at the door, wags her tail, fetches, and tries to eat table scraps. I also knew something was up because she didn't have much of an appetite.
Any thoughts or prayers are appreciated - she is our baby. We would be devastated to lose her, but don't want her to suffer either.

I'm so sorry Mel, I hope she gets through this okay. I know how hard it is when your pets are sick. If she does end up needing surgery, would that essentially cure her? I'm assuming it's a benign tumor.
My kitties Gabby and Theo are sending Tasha good vibes.
I'm so sorry this is happening. It's so hard losing a pet, so I hope you don't have to deal with that any time soon.
Also - kudos to you on taking in an older cat!
