your used wedding gown.....
Did you preserve your wedding gown or what did you do with it after your big day?
I still have my in my closet and it takes a lot of space...I think it might be time to get it preserved and put in a box .....I can't imagne how they get such a huge dress to fit into a box.
Can you recommend of a good place to get this done at?
Thank You

Re: your used wedding gown.....
I used wedclean.com.
A couple gals on this board have had a great experience with Earls Cleaners in Clawson. I know someone in real life that had her gown cleaned and preserved there as well.
I just took mine (3 years later) to Earl's Cleaners. I haven't gotten it back yet so I can't speak for the quality but the price was good and the owner cleans it himself. Once he is done you go and inspect it and he boxes it up.
Mine is still dirty and hanging in the basement...I always wanted to clean it and use it for a baptism gown, but that's probably never gonna happen. I guess I should get rid of it at this point, the stains probably set over the years
My friend used wedclean and was happy with them.
Same here. It is boxed up and in my closet. I have no idea what I will do with it. I don't honestly think my future kids would wear it, so I feel like I should just sell it and get what I can.....but of course sentimentality (is that a word?) won't let me....
Thanks ladies..I will be checking these places out...... I agree...can't get rid of it too.....but I need to get it boxed ....and it's almost three years later......time flies!
