Wow this board has been slow! So let's get a QOTD going:
If you celebrate Easter, what are some of your favorite foods to eat?
Does your family have any Easter traditions or are you planning to start new ones with DH?
Re: I think we need a QOTD
I'll start
If you celebrate Easter, what are some of your favorite foods to eat?
I love a good honeybaked ham, greens, stuffing and of course, chocolate! A cheesecake or lemon pound cake is a great alternate, too. lol
Does your family have any Easter traditions or are you planning to start new ones with DH?
My mom always cooks a big Easter dinner with all of the above foods in addition to deviled eggs (yuck!). Now that Preston is here, I plan on making a big dinner and also finding an Easter egg hunt when he gets older.
If you celebrate Easter, what are some of your favorite foods to eat?
Ham, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, rolls, and reese's peanut butter eggs (they are a food group all their own)
Does your family have any Easter traditions or are you planning to start new ones with DH?
We actually started one before we got married, that we keep Easter to ourselves. It's amazing. The first year we did it, we went to baseball games in St Louis and Kansas City (St. Louis Fri, KC Saturday, and St. Louis again on Sunday) Last year we were in Italy on our honeymoon during Easter. This year we don't have any plans, we will probably do some cooking and just relax.

Glazed ham, cheesy scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole and anything with chocolate & peanut butter!

My family is Catholic, so growing up Easter was always a big deal. My Mom was over the top with her Easter baskets and I always had a ridiculously poofy pretty princess dress with a matching hat or bow.
DH is not religious so Easter doesn't mean a lot to him. Traditionally I've always made us a small dinner etc. Last year we were on our Honeymoon. This year I think we may hit-up a brunch buffet on the Strip. I think once we have kids in the future, we will start our own traditions.

Honey baked Ham and Reese's Peanut butter eggs!!
Does your family have any Easter traditions or are you planning to start new ones with DH? We had traditions growing up, but since we were older we haven't done much as a family. DH will probably start are own traditions with Charlie, but this year we are spending Easter with my family at my sisters house. They are doing an Easter egg hunt for the kids.
