I just filled my small little tank for $48. Of course it could be worse, but I just did the math, and we've spent $300 this week on gas, not including whatever H spent this morning before hitting the road.
The cheapest I've seen in my neighborhood is $3.77/gallon.
What about where you live? How much is gas?

Re: Gas Prices
It is about $3.50 in the Denver area. It sucks! I realize we are usually lower than the rest of the country, but I have a freaking 45 mile commute. Thank God I have a car with very good gas mileage.
$300 in a week!?! How much do you guys drive?

Time has certainly changed when it comes to prices of EVERYTHING!!!!
We drive A LOT. I drive about 300/400 work miles a week and H is probably like quadruple that. He drives A LOT, like a rediculous amount. He doesn't try to be efficient with the gas pedal though (he's on a strict time schedule during the day) whereas I take my sweet ol time during work time to get to where I need to go.
It's so depressing when I see how much money goes out b/c of gasoline.
I got gas at Costco's on Tuesdya and it was $3.71. We drove by it yesterday and it was $3.74. All the other gas stations around here are $3.77-3.80. Its ridiculous!!
I'm glad I only have a 5 mile commute to work. That is just about the only thing I will miss if we move from this area.
I feel like gas has gone up WAY more than every other thing. Lots of stuff has gone up, but gas is insane.
When I first started driving I thought the 85, 87, 89 thing was the price b/c that's about how much it was!
The gas station at the corner was $3.99 last night. We usually get our gas at Costco, so it is less than that.
We usually have to fill up once a week. Thankfully (I guess) we only have 1 car, and with H's schedule I don't get to drive much.
My Profile
It's 3.85 to 4.05 here. I usually don't drive much but drove 4 hours to pick up my tri bike today.
And we're trying to book our next trip and I feel like we have to do it asap because of the gas prices but we can't figure out where to go!
