Jax

Tell me how this works again... You and J don't have anything for the baby beforehand and your family gets the necessities when you're in the hospital? Do you have any say in what they get? Do you have a room ready? So I guess you dont do baby showers? Do you have a meet the baby party? Sorry fir the 20 ques, just curious!

Re: Jax

  • Hey, so ya...nothing before baby is born.

I have started a wish list (which is private) on BRU, so H, my mom, sister, MIL etc have a list to go off of, but they'll likely only get the necessities.

We do not have a room ready...we will remove the desk/etc from the office sometime within a month. Nursery stuff will be purchased/painted/decorated when baby is born. Since baby is sleeping in our room for at least the first couple of months, no need to hurray right now.

No baby shower. Not sure what my mom and sister are planning. Maybe a meet the baby party, we'll see.  Was hoping they would do something with my girlfriends like I threw for my sister, but highly unlikely, since my mother told me she doesn't want to do anything before the baby is born. I'm pretty bummed about it because I thought it was a nice gesture. Whatever...

Keep the questions coming, no worries :)
