Sometimes I have to let out my inner 13 y/o boy
Last night I removed the caulk from around the bathtub - in preparation for some heavy-duty cleaning and recaulking this weekend. I posted something on FB that, while not dealing specifically with this task, did mention caulk . . . and the fact that my husband is away for the week.
26 HILARIOUS posts later in a back and forth exchange with my sister, we have decided that:

Followed up by this observation of mine (paraphrased): Even with all sorts of tools and gels, using your hands to get caulk off works best.
Good lord, I am just in a fit of giggles and last night I was laughing so hard I was crying! Yes, it is terribly immature, but oh man, is it funny!
(and for the record, it was my 35-year-old-mother-of-5 sister who started it all. I think all the time in the hospital this week has made her a wee bit goofy!)

Yeah, whoever named this wonderful sticky invention was really having a laugh at all future users, I'm sure of it!

My little brother and I have an ongoing communication about D1ck's sporting goods. He's 19, I'm 32. Last week, in an attempt to revive the conversation, I sent him a text message that said "I love big D1ck's." He told me never to send him something like that again.
