Do you plan to make anything special for easter this weekend?
I'll be making Lemon Cupcakes with Lemon Frosting for Easter dessert, but I just found this recipe for homemade cinnamon rolls and I might just have to make them for a special Easter weekend breakfast

Re: Tasty Thursday (almost Friday)
My Easter menu:
Appetizers: hummus, truffle goat cheese, and olive oil dip seasoned with thyme
Dinner: lamb kebab with tomato sauce, cucumber and herb salad, potato and green bean casserole, yogurt with rose petals, and egg salad on pumpernickel bread (my aunt doesn't eat meat, so, sadly, she cannot have lamb kebabs)
Dessert: almond torte, Turkish coffee cake, and raspberries with cream
Except for the highly perishables (bread and raspberries) and a couple of random items the store didn't have today (dill and pine nuts), the shopping is done and prep starts tomorrow. I am so uptight I have written schedules for holiday cooking!

That flourless chocolate truffle cake looks and sounds delicious! I might have to whip that up this weekend!
It is SO good - it has a similar consistency to cheesecake, but no cream cheese flavor.
