    My dad did this with me a few times when I was little and now I love seeing them grow in the front of their house.  He did it with my niece recently too, so it's cool to see the different sizes and know that I planted them 20 years ago from a tiny tree in a plastic baggy.  This winter I collected the tiny pine cones and used them to decorate with.  I'm sort of a geek and really proud of my trees.  Stick out tongue

    Eighth Anniversary 1000 Comments Combo Breaker

    If any of you are in your "fovever" homes, be sure to plant any trees a ways away from the house.  My parents had me plant a little tree when I was 3 or 4, and it's a great big tree now- great big and butting into the power lines because it is too close!  I'm afraid they are goign to have to cut "my" tree before they leave the house because it's taking over!
