Re: Fun Friday
Today - DH has the day off, and we headed to the doc. this morning. He has this cyst thing between his eye and nose...when it started, looked like a pimple, but after a month hasn't gone away or gotten any worse. While he was at the doc (new doc, he hasn't been in a few years since being in this area) the guy listen to his heart.....and DH has a "significant heart murmer" and the doc "strongly recommended seeing a cardiologist." DH's mom and sister both have valve issues and his sis has a murmer as well, so now I'm super worried.
Tomorrow - headed to my parents place. Doing Easter dinner Sat night with my mom dad and little brother. My older brother and SIL are going to SIL's parents, so my fam is doing a laid back thing.
Sunday - meeting up with DH's family for Easter brunch. They live within an hour of my family, so it's nice to be able to see both families at holidays.
Today - I have the day off. Going grocery shopping. When DH gets home we're going to go pick up a patio set and then do dinner at his parents.
Tomorrow - His parents are coming over bright an early to do our backyard landscapping. Going for dinner with his college roommate and then going to see an 80s cover band.
Sunday - Sunrise mass on Lake Michigan with my brother and parents, going out for breakfast, probably taking a nap, then DH is going to come join us at my parents house to do Easter dinner with my family.
Today-went to the gym, short shopping trip to AT Loft, Laundry, sending stuff back to Zappos. grocery shopping with DH/dinner, and maybe a movie with friends
Tomorrow-spin class, update my portfolio for my grad school class (or get a mani/pedi, maybe a little shopping, walk at the Towpath, and dinner with the in-laws.
Sunday-getting all gussied up and having brunch with friends, making something in the crockpot to last a few days..chill before the busyness of work and grad school commence once again
4 weeks left of my regular grad school schedule and 8 weeks left of teaching for the school year...Yay!
Today - It's a rainy day so I'm ignoring the schoolwork I have to do and watching The Big Bang theory on DVD for awhile. DH works tonight, so I have no plans.
Tomorrow - DH is going fishing with a friend, then we're cleaning the apartment (spring cleaning) and having a nice dinner out somewhere. Then we'll probably head home and watch a movie with some wine (I just got The King's Speech!).
Sunday - Easter mass early in the morning (only time you can get a seat!) then family stuff the rest of the day!
my read shelf:
So sorry to read this! I hope it is nothing too serious! I am a former heart patient (born with a VSD) I can only imagine how concerned you are. I hope everything works out well, please keep us updated.
Today - Spent all day cleaning and running errands with DH. While I know that I'm not in first tri, I am still insanely exhausted after exerting myself so much and am completely beat, and we're not even done cleaning...I am taking a break because my back is killing me (again).
Tomorrow - my family is coming to visit, as well as my uncle. we'll have lunch (sandwich platter for everyone else, who knows what for me) and hang for a bit, then we are going to Easter Vigil mass because DH is completing his RCIA program and getting confirmed.
Sunday - hanging out with family and cooking an insane amount of food, then after my family leaves to go back home, I'll write a presentation for Monday. woohoo!
Today-vegged out and relexed and waited for DH to get home who has been out of town
Tomorrow: First Cardinal game of the season at the stadium
Sunday: Easter at my mom's with DH, mom, brother, SIL, and nephew....it is my nephew's first Easter! Yeah!!!!
