I am having a bad/sad pet week
On Monday, I found out that my 14 year old cat Clifford is diabetic. I started giving him insulin shots and he is doing much better. I was really worried about him, and relieved that it was something we can manage with medicine.
Today, I discovered that my 12 year old dog, Murphy, had died in his sleep. He was a great dog. I am really sad that he is gone.

Re: I am having a bad/sad pet week
I'm sorry - that's rough.
Hugs to you
I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard that is. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that Murphy had a happy life with you and he went peacefully knowing that he was loved.
I'm glad Clifford's condition can be managed with medicine!
I am so so sorry about your dog, but at least it sounds like he died peacefully in his sleep :-(
and I hope your cat gets better with the insulin!
It's so sad when a pet dies. I am sorry for your loss. Dying in your sleep seems like a good way to go (for a pet or a human).
I'm glad that they found a way to help Clifford.

Someone's getting a little brother!
5 cats. 1 baby.
... every single day of forever.
Thanks again for all the kind words and thoughts.
On a happier note, I brought Clifford back to have his blood sugar checked, after a week of insulin. His numbers were normal, which was a relief. Hopefully he will continue to do well.
Thanks again.
