The dr's office called me today. My sugars were a little high in my GTT. Not quite diabetic, but they want me to come in to do a fasting test. Worst part: whether I pass it or not they still want me to eat like a diabetic for the rest of my pregnancy. So I have to go meet with a nutritionist too. I guess no more ice cream for me!
Re: Well great
My SIL had GD too but was able to control it with diet. What sucked the most for her - we were taking a cake decorating class at the time and we both had to make cake and icing once a week. TORTURE for her!
Eat your beautiful cake tomorrow, just plan for it! That thing was too much work not to enjoy!
PCOS and Endo
Ovarian drilling and endo removed 1/3/12
BFP - 3/27/12
Beta's 11, 14, 57, 637, 2800
Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
Boo!
That takes the fun right out of "I'm pregnant; I can eat whatever I want."
Hope you pass the next test. And ditto: eat your shower cake!
That's never fun!
But yes, you should eat your cake!
