Spring PIP Challenge Proposal

I propose that over the weekend we all take pictures of some of the plants in our yards, then PIP them for people to identify for us, or if we already know what they are, to say what they are and show off how things are starting to bud/bloom for Spring.

This was inspired by Dr. Loretta's post the other day.  I think it could be fun.

Re: Spring PIP Challenge Proposal

  • I'm not much of a green thumb but my tulips are blooming as are my azaleas, I'll try to remember to get a picture!
  • Nothing is blooming at my house. Sad

But I have a guess for Dr.L. Off to post there!

  • I don't have much blooming either but my bulbs are poking out and I am super excited!  We planted them in late November so I was worried we were too late.
  • good idea!  I think my weeping cherry is about to bloom Smile

My neighbor's weeping cherry is well on its way already!

I can pretty much guarantee you that I'm not going to remember to do this, but nothing in my yard is photograph-worthy yet anyway.  Looking forward to enjoying all your springy posts on Monday though!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • My yard is a mess.  Ha ha ha.  The dog just dug so many holes last year, and we are missing patches of grass.  I do have some tulips in the front, but they are not blooming yet.
