Another WFE Post...Semi-Spoilers
I saw Water for Elephants with my mom today and I actually really liked it, despite the bad reviews. There was one whole character eliminated from the movie, (for those that read the book), but I still felt like the did a good job of adapting the book to a screenplay. But again, I don't have supremely high standards for entertainment, so some of you might disagree with me.
Oh, and also, RPatts was hot in this movie. I wouldn't have said the same about Twilight.

I just got home and thought it was really good. They cut quite a bit and changed some of the storylines, but it translated well. Christopher Waltz was AMAZING! The August in the book was exactly what you saw on the screen. The animal scenes made me cry. The only thing that bugged me was that "young" Jacob narrated the movie and not "old" Jacob. It was "old" Jacob telling his story, it should have been him narrating the story.

I agree with all of this. I had to look away during the scene when August went in the train car with Rosie and the bull hook. Ugh.
I think Rosie was amazing, she really did "steal the show" I thought. I have a feeling that the audience reviews will be better than the critic reviews.
