Easter Basket ideas
I just took the items I purchased for Ella's basket out of my trunk. I don't think I have enough.
What do you put in your LO Easter Basket? I don't want this to turn into Christmas or anything but I just think I need a few more things.
i bought a Scooter, some candy, sidewalk chalk, tall garden shovel (my mom bought the little ones), glitter glue pens, card games, headband.

That sounds good to me! Em is getting a scooter and helmet (it was supposed to be at C's bday but we decided to wait) some candy, playdoh eggs, a paul frank fedora from target, a tshirt and shorts, a bathing suit. a coloring book. I need to go through my stuff too because I feel like I have a bag somewhere I'm forgetting about!
Maybe get her a bathing suit or flip flops or something?
So far, I've got bath toys for both kids, and I have picked up some Peeps for Shannon. I'd like to get just a couple more small things for each of them (possibly a small stuffed animal, or something like that), but their birthdays are in just a couple of weeks (Shannon's is 5/3, Kyle's is 5/14), so Easter baskets are going to be "small" in my house each year. BIG gift is coming at their joint birthday party in 2 weeks!

Oohhh...I just bought everything yesterday.
They're getting Tangled, pj's, bracelets (for Mel obviously), Hot Wheels (for T), a bubble tumbler with 3 wands, kites, a little bunny that hops around, kid scissors, a ball, stickers, and sunglasses. And of course, some candy.
I'd say since you got the scooter, you're pretty good...
We are getting Twinkle Toes (30% off Kohl's coupon and they need new spring sneakers so...) a book each, a couple of small crafts, a couple of candy things each, and a couple of other little things...The shoes are their 'big item' and then a few smaller things...
Where did you get the coupon? Ella has been asking me for those.
i am going to try to put the baskets together tonight so i can see exactly what i have . so far in baskets they will get a chocolate bunny , a bathing suit, a sun dress, a beach ball (3-d from pbk), bubbles, sunglasses, a small backpack and stickers and a dollar spot book each from target.
their big gift is a plastic toy pirate pool. i had also ordered cute personalized beach chairs from pbk, but pbk back orderdered these until mid may- i ordered in early march! they sent me gift cards, but i am still annoyed about them not being here for easter!
i am sure they will get other crap from my sisters and parents so i am not going to stress. honestly my girls are more excited about an easter egg hunt and opening plastic eggs right now!
I am totally not a fan of Twinkle Toes. They are not my style at all. Half of E's wardrobe for the Spring/Summer has come from Nordstrom and Boden so what these shoes are going to match I have no idea.
She asked for them last year too but I ignored her request. She has been asking me every day for 2 weeks for these silly things.
I got the 30% coupon in the mail...with the flyer...I have a Kohl's charge so...The only reason they got them was b/c I had 30% off...they are so darn expensive...But...I got them on sale and they'll make them happy...They have been asking for them for a long time and I've been resisting b/c of the price...
