Re: FFF anyone?
I have the worst AF-related mood swings this week. I swear, on Wednesday, it was like I was bipolar. I scared my crew, which takes a lot. And I find myself annoyed just by being around people, even really close friends!
I am not looking forward to Easter. We are spending the morning with the ILs, and the evening with my parents. My mom, who is normally the rational one, tried to tell us to spend the whole day with his parents when I told her we were splitting the day, even though she had already invited us for dinner. Seriously mom, WTF? On top of that, the last time I saw FIL, he made a comment about my weight, so I am especially not looking forward to seeing him. I wish I was working and didn't have to deal with this.
1. I HATE feeling like that. Yuck yuck yuck. It's like a need to be quarantined feeling.
2. Give this to your FIL: Glitter punch. love, jackie xoxo
I almost wish we *not just MH and me* didn't have smart phones. Call me old school, but they are a huge distraction from what's right in front of you, like just spending quality time with those that are around you. A conversation just isn't the same when the person is constantly looking at their phone rather than you.
I am so on board with this. I am not jumping on the bandwagon until "they" make me and I am certain one day "they" will make me. I'm sure I would get a lot of use out a smart phone, but I don't need it by any means, so I'd rather not have one.
Add me to the bandwagon. DH is constantly "plugged in", so I feel like I never have his full attention. His phones (yes, he has more than one smart phone) are the first thing he checks when he wakes up, and the last thing before he goes to sleep. And yes, I'm jealous of the phone.
