1st roofer
We called the guy the neighbors used.
We met for 10-15 minutes.
He managed to insult engineers and teachers during the conversation.
You may recall I am a teacher and Luke is an engineer.
It's not looking good for this guy.

haha jackarse. Did he know that you and dh are an engineer and teacher?
That would be a no.
He also is convinced there is a conspiracy between our mortgage lender and our home inspector to stick us with a bad roof and then come back and repo the house for failure to keep it up to get the equity....
One of DH's co-workers said this morning he had a buddy who owns a roofing co. (I know, not usually a good thing). So, we called him and got to meet with him tonight. We could hardly contain ourselves not to tell him he got the job, he knows his stuff, is personable, and is going to do it with 5 guys in about a week for $4,000. But, in the spirit of actually getting 3 quotes, we will let the other 2 guys come next week and see what they have to say.
