double coupons

Does any store around here do double coupons?  I always see it on tv shows, but I have never seen it in a store here.

Re: double coupons

  • Every once and a while K-Mart will run double coupons, but I have not seen this for a year or so.

Target, Publix, and Walgreens doing something similar to double coupons, but instead of having a special coupon that doubles the original coupon, the let you use a manufacturers coupon as well as a store coupon.

Recently I bought a child's toy from Target.  Their website had a fisher price coupon (20% any fisher price item) and Fisher Price had a five dollar off coupon. The toy ended up being like 6 dollars down from like 14.00 (or something like that).  I have saved a ton at both publix and target this way.

If you bring re-usable bags to target, for each one they fill up, you get an extra 5 cents off.

Hope all that helps and good luck couponing :).  It can be fun to see how much you save!  I like it anyways.  If you have any other questions, I have some great websites and stuff you can visit to help you save a ton :).

  • ETA: Sorry for the double/blank post!

  • Thanks for all of the tips!

I shop at CVS and Walgreens weekly and I am always amazed at how cheap I can get things using a store coupon and a manufacturers coupon!  Sometimes I'll even make money!

I also use reusable bags, although I am bad at forgetting them in the car.  Today I went to Target and didn't buy anything and accidently left my two bags in the cart :(

I use the freebeies for mom FB page and get a lot of great deals there.  What other sites do you rec?

Someone was mentioning this site to me the other day, they told me because the site is local they tend to catch more of the local deals, but I couldn't remember the name of this site.  Thanks for reminding me!

No problem. She is based right here in Tampa and her deals are focused on the Tampa & Orlando deals. The site can be a little hard to navigate but they are in the process of redesigning it to make it more user friendly.

  • This is the first I have been on since my last post.  The two sites I go to are coupongeek.net and passion for savings.com (i believe it is called).  They both have facebook pages and have updates all the time with some great deals.
