WWYW? Accessorize this, plz.
Someone gave me a dress that looks like this:
And while I do like it, I don't usually buy tan clothes (mine is just a little darker/more brown than shown) and have no idea how to accessorize it.
So, shoes? I have black sandals with a cork-ish heel, but really no brown shoes. I also have a pair of bronze ballet flats. Can I wear black shoes with a tan dress? Or should I go on a hunt for brown?
Jewelry? I'd like to wear it on Easter, so would like to add something springy. I have a necklace of big lavender beads. Acceptable?
How would you make this work? Bonus points for links and pics!
Gracias!
Re: WWYW? Accessorize this, plz.
Agreed. I'd wear some bright shoes and necklace with this for some pops of color.
You could also swap out the belt for something more colorful/interesting. I don't recommend black, but something of this ilk:

(it's not letting me add an image)
I'm still new to the whole accessorizing thing, but the one thing I know is that the dress definitely needs colored accessories!

But take my info with a grain of salt. Sometimes I think I should be on What Not To Wear.

bright colored handbag would add some color.
like this one:
orange
or
green
plus a fun bracelet :-)
Love the bracelet and green handbag! I'll have to save up for that bag, though
just the general idea. I saw some really cute bright colored handbags at TJMaxx for under $30....
I was thinking a chunky turquoise necklace. Kind of like this one, although I have no idea where she got it.
I like the idea of bright shoes too. Are espadrilles too crazy?
