My, I was worried that the board would have been super active this week and I'd have a lot to catch up on but I suppose not!
Things are busy with me as usual - working all day, Elance at night...
I'm counting down the days till I leave my job. I have another 3 weeks. My boss is basically gone most of next week and half of the one after so I figured I may as well stay. However, she thought I was leaving next Friday and burst into tears yesterday. She's been fine (of course, as she wants me to stay) but I think isn't accepting that I'm leaving. We posted my job and got over 100 applicants! We went through them all and only about 2 of them were actually qualified. I sent an e-mail to the board to let them know that I'm leaving - I kept it brief but didn't say that the reason I'm leaving is to be with Lucie like my boss is telling everything (yes, that's a reason but if she wasn't so crazy, I wouldn't be quitting) and I got so many e-mails back saying "No, we won't let you leave" and the one that made me feel better and that people know the truth said "Thank you for continuing to work hard in the office environment". They know the truth, thank goodness! Of course, something needs to be done about it but I told them they know where I am if she ever leaves!
