Wildlife @ Merle Hay Mall!

I'm sure some of you have seen this-but it's a GREAT kids activity. There is a 'store' in Merle Hay Mall (top level of the center court) that has wildlife in it. It's $1 admission-per person. You get to pet baby bears, possoms, wild cats, whatever they have there for FREE. You can also take all the pictures you want but if you want them to take a picture its $10.

I had a blast-G was cranky and could have cared less (she likes the fake animals better) but we'll definitely be going back. They've been there since December and will be there until December.

Are they still only doing it at certain times? When we went, they said we had to come at one of two times in the afternoons only.
  • Hm-no idea! DH just randomly walked in around 1 and they were there. I'd call and ask. Maybe it's different on Saturdays?

  • We went a couple weeks ago right at 10 am and had a great time.  I do think you can only feed the bear at certain times, but otherwise it was my understanding that they were open.
