holy tornados batman!
St. Louis was hit with several large tornados last night! It is being reported as the worst storm in the last 40 years.
We were at my parents' house about 10 miles away from our when the storm hit. Both of our neighborhoos were fine, but a tornado hit a small town near my work. A lot of my students live there.
Another tornado hit Lambert International Airport. The airport is shut down indfinitely right now b/c of the damage. Over 50% of the windows in concourse C were blown out. There are tons of damaged cars in the parking garage. A shuttle bus was thrown half way off the roof of the garage. The neighborhoods around the airport were also severly damaged or destroyed.
Luckily, God was watching out for everyone last night! There have been some injuries, but no one was killed!

At first, our local news thought it was going to head our way...thank goodness it didnt!
