Free DH
Since MIL guilted him into hosting Easter, when our house is the mess, in the middle of a huge renovation and oh btw MIL is only bringing a few steaks and pound cake. So not even enough food for everyone.
Then after I ask him every day to figure out WTF is going on, he still can't tell me.
Then after he and my mom go to the store he says "we're having baked potatoes" and I ask him if he bothered to get margarine at the store b/c we're almost out. Uh no.
Why does his family do this for every freaking get together and why does he get mad at me when I get stressed at having all these people at the house and the possibility of no food to feed them.

The only holiday this hasn't happened was Thanksgiving b/c I planned it all and then we told everyone what to bring.
I know not every holiday requires an entire menu, but at least give us an idea of what to expect.
As of this morning there are no vegetables on the menu as far as DH knows. I told him the deviled eggs I'm making don't count, lol!
