You guys have some serious vibes on this board, so I need your help please.
My uncle had gastric bypass done in December, because his dr told him he would drop him as a patient if he did not do it. My uncle is greatly overweight and disable, so this seemed like his shot to be able to lose the weight and he agreed. It has been a nightmare since. He has aged literally 20 years since December and has had one health crisis after another since. He is 50 and his hair and skin look like he is 70. His bowels became entangled and suffocated themselves last month, his body started shutting down, they took him into emergency surgery and he was on the road to recovery.
The last few days he has been confused, his blood pressure was like 71/48, his dr did blood tests and realized his liver and kidneys were shutting down and his white cell count was really high, they sent him to the ER. He was admitted yesterday and today moved to CCU in septic shock. He is VERY diabetic, his immune system is severely compromised, his feet and legs have turned blue. They are now testing him for MRSA also. Things are not looking good for him.
Sorry this has gotten so long, were all afraid this might not play out so well. Any t&p's you have are appreciated.
