Gift Basket Ideas
People at work and myself are going to do a gift basket for my friend instead of sending flowers, or food, we just thought this would be better since I'm sure she'll be getting a ton of flowers, and have lots of food. Plus after family/friends go home, she'll need something to distract her.
Any ideas?
What would you want in a GB? I was sort of thinking a g/c for a certain resturant or a Visa card plus some other fun stuff for her daughter.

I don't know if this fits with the dollar amount or "theme" of the basket, but I was thinking this weekend that a gift certificate for a cleaning service would be an awesome Mother's Day gift -- and I would guess that it could be a really helpful gift for your friend, too (whether now or sometime in the future).
Other thoughts: movie outing package for her & her daughter (movie tickets, kid-friendly restaurant); a journal; thoughtful book related to loss & healing; today's Groupon for The Body Shop; at-home mani/pedi stuff...
