f/u about my dad

Thanks for the T&Ps ladies.

I went up with  my mom, brother, and DH to visit dad today.  He's worse.  His pain levels have gone back up, his oxygen levels are too low (it causes him more pain when he breaths deeply), the docs are worried about blood clots, and now he has a fever too.  Oh, and they think there's an obstruction.  For something that was supposed to just be a routine endoscopy to be sure everything was ok, this is just getting ridiculous.

On the way home, I started laughing about something DH was doing and ended up crying.  I'm a mess about this.  I've never had a parent actually be seriously ill.

Since my mom will be going back up to Philly to visit tomorrow (my parents live about an hour outside the city, so she's been commuting back and forth every day), I'm in charge of making Easter dinner.  At least it will take my mind off things.  Kind of.  Or it will just remind me that nothing is right about this holiday this year.

Thanks again for letting me vent.  I usually can vent/worry/get support from my mom and DH, but mom's super stressed and there's DH is only one person.
