We need to toss all our current food storage containers and get new stuff. What do you use and do you like it?
(Rubbermaid, Tupperware - that stuff)
Re: Food Storage Containers
Rubbermaid is good because the lids and containters snap together when they are being stored, but they are more expensive and I like glad just as much. I usually just store all of the lids in a giant freezer baggie so that they arent falling all over my head when I pull one out of the cabinet.
I did buy the gladware interlocking lids on accident, but they are a pain when you put them in the fridge and try to stack them because the interlocking lid part sticks up.

I have ones like this that I love. Mine aren't color coded though.
Fire it up, Let's go get this thing stuck
I agree. We have both a set of Pyrex glass storage containers and Tupperware. We have used the tupperware for heating stuff up and they do not look very good any more, they have permanent stains and such. I really like the Pyrex because as previous poster said you can heat them up without a problem.
Oh those are nice - I like that they sell sizes you'd actually use. I hate getting small sauce cups in the packages...I never use them!
This! They have all sorts of sizes, small & large, and also round ones too.
And they aren't too pricey so if DH leaves them at work and they disappear, I don't get too angry
Ditto!! I have these too, but a different set that I got at Costco. My sister picked up a set like this at Wal-Mart for super cheap on Black Friday. They do not get tomato stains or burn when used on the microwave.
We also have some of the Rubbermaid Glass dishes (similar to the pyrex ones).
We will keep around some disposable gladware/ziplock ones for lunches or leftovers. I dispose of them when they get stained from use.

I just bought a 50-piece pack of these from Sams Club on Saturday. I'm glad to hear that you guys like them! I've not had much of any chances yet to test them out, but I'm hoping they work out for me!

We have some of the Food Network snapware stuff that we really like and then bought the Costco version. The lids can get annoying as far as storage (like taking up space in my cabinets) goes but they are always the first ones I reach for.

I purchased ones like these, but the containers are glass, from Costco. They had both the glass and plastic versions there. I love them.
